I’m usually a very detailed planner with my shoots. If I don’t know what’s going on or have a plan of what is suppose to happen, my mind goes all over the place. It’s like I had 8 cups of coffee all at once and can’t focus. I guess you could call me a bit of a control freak or maybe OCD, but there’s a little bit of that in all creatives, right?
Fortunately for this shoot, being that it was last minute and very impromptu, I didn’t get like that. Time was limited so I kept it simple.
I had rented a bunch of surfaces for a photo shoot and ended up not using this beautifully weathered white wood. I couldn’t let it go unused so I went to the market and grabbed whatever was available.
And this is what I came up with…raw ingredients with lost of negative space, perfect for incorporating some graphic design.
